The Georgian cottage is attached to the monastery on the west side and can be accessed from the monastery through a 14th century archway or via its main door on Conduit Hill; it also has a door which leads to its own outside space with a gate to the monastery garden.

 

The cottage is arranged in a two up, two down configuration and is tiny compared to the monastery but full of quirky charm and very cosy. It too has some interesting architectural features with a large through fireplace linking the downstairs kitchen and snug, exposed brick work, original pencil beaded tongue and groove and the rooms upstairs extend into the apex of the roof which creates drama and a feeling of space. It is ideally situated on Conduit Hill just off the High Street and is a perfect romantic getaway.
